LUTTRELL (WATE) – Thursday evening, Union County Sheriff’s Office said they received a call of a home invasion where the intruder has been shot by the homeowner.
Deputies responded to the home, located in the 800 block of Bull Road Road in Luttrell at around 7:00 p.m. When they arrived at the home they found Cregory Thatcher, 29, of Luttrell has been shot once.
Thatcher was flown to University of Tennessee Medical Center by LifeStar, according to deputies. Union County Sheriff’s Office said the incident is under investigation and charges are pending.
